Members of the Executive Team of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Toronto are pleased to announce that Janice Robson has been named as the new President.

The announcement was made at the 89th Annual Gala Dinner of the Society, which took place at The King Edward Hotel on Friday May 1st, 2015. We take this opportunity to again thank immediate Past President Daniel Kaute for his unwavering service to the Society, as well as immediate Past Interim President Lindsay Shaddy, who more than stepped up to the plate during the interregnum.

We’re very lucky to be invited to the National Ballet School for their 2015 Spring Showcase. Many thanks to Ken McCarter, director of Canada’s National Ballet School, for organizing this.

Another month has flashed past and the Oxford and Cambridge pub night is nearly upon us. The Irish Embassy has been forewarned of our plans and will be expecting us next Tuesday, 28 April from 6pm in the Dublin Bar. Please see the Events page for more information.

Come and join fellow alumni to watch the University Boat Race at the Pub. We’ll be watching it at the Oxley Pub on Saturday, April 11th. We’ll be gathering at 11:30am as the races starts at 11:50, and the programming before the first race. I recommend coming early to get a seat. We’ll be in the upstairs bar where you can order food. Although the venue changed this year, the menu is exactly the same as our previous location and I would highly recommend the food.
