ANDREW COHEN
Andrew Cohen is an award-winning journalist, bestselling author, and professor of journalism. A former Globe and Mail correspondent in Washington, D.C., he is the author of seven books, including Two Days in June: John F. Kennedy and the 48 Hours that Made History. Born and raised in Montreal, Andrew holds degrees from McGill and Carleton Universities. He is a charter member of the Quadrangle Society of Massey College and a Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, where he held the Fullbright Visiting Chair in Canada-US relations. He is a fellow of Clare Hall, Cambridge.
W. KENNETH McCARTER
Ken McCarter (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge) was a respected lawyer, a long-time supporter of the arts, and a key member of the Executive of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Toronto. He was also a Senior Fellow and Chair of the Quadrangle Society at Massey College. He exemplified the best of both institutions, and we look forward to sharing an evening of ideas and fellowship in memory of our mutual friend.
MASSEY COLLEGE
Massey College is a postgraduate residential college within the University of Toronto. Opened in 1963, the college was designed by renowned architect Ron Thom, who was inspired by the traditions of Oxford and Cambridge. The college motto is “Where people and ideas intersect.”
