After the sweet smell of victory by Cambridge and the agony of defeat by Oxford last year, the battle on the soccer field is set to be waged again!

By popular demand, we’re hosting another Oxford vs. Cambridge Soccer Match next month, on August 30.

If it seems like just a few short weeks since our last Pub night that’s because it is. Having delayed the June meeting to July we now end up having two events in one month. Confused? Come to the Oxley on Tuesday 28 July from 6pm and I’ll explain it to you over a beer.

Our next pub night will be on Tuesday, July 7th at the Oxley Pub in Yorkville. U2 are in town next week and the Irish Embassy expects to be swamped with concert-goers. If we get to the Oxley early enough we may be able to sit outside on the patio!

There will be no pub night tonight (Tuesday 30th June). Although it is our normal night, most people seem to be away for Canada Day and some others want to watch the USA v Germany match in the World Cup Semi-Final.

We will meet next Tuesday instead, on Tuesday 7 July.
