Kevin McGurgan, the UK Consul General to Toronto, has invited the alumni of Oxford and Cambridge Universities together with the Canadian Friends of the LSE to join him for a reception at The National Club on Wednesday, 20 July from 6pm.

We will be soaking up the last rays of sunshine on their rooftop patio while eating an assortment of canapes including Port, Blue Cheese & Walnut Crostini; Norwegian Smoked Salmon Rosettes; Italian Prosciutto Crostini; Smoked Chicken Salad Cherry Tomato; Baby Spinach & Cheese Mushroom Cap; Shrimp Won Ton with Thai Chile; Beef Satay with Chipotle Pepper; Chicken Spring Rolls.

There may be some discussion about Brexit…

This reception is in place of the traditional events at the Consul General’s house on Dunvegan Road which has been sold.
